In 2014, Earth3000 President Maritta Koch-Weser became co-founder of World Heritage Watch, a network of over 180 citizen groups worldwide (www.world-heritage-watch.org). World Heritage Watch supports local people in protecting their UNESCO World Heritage sites, and in generating and publishing up to date critical information about their state of conservation (https://whc.unesco.org/en/list/).
